Chris McCaw - Sunburn (2012)
Vintage photo paper exposed to the sun over long timeframes, resulting in landscape images literally seared by the sun.
(via wastedromance)
We no longer revel in the coolness of summer,
Nor do we portray the weekend warriors we once were,
We now shrivel into nothing,
Losing our lively hood and spirit,
Turning into those we swore to never be,
And forgetting the happiness of sunlight in our now cruel hearts,
We look back on our days and reminisce,
For we know we gave up and did nothing we planned,
Are lives are wrong but we move on,
Our lives are not what we want but we suffer,
Why do we no longer fight, nor do we revel in the coolness of summer.
